Why? Because birthday parties are special. And moving into your first home, announcing the birth of a child, and celebrating your parents' 50th wedding anniversary are all special occasions. Whether you're turning eight or eighty-eight, you deserve to be celebrated. And spending an insane number of hours designing invitations results in something that's, well, special. Do you remember the last invitation or holiday card you sent? I do. It was an engine shed that opened to reveal a train and the birthday party information for my now two-year-old. And the one before that was a Christmas card that had the perfect photo of my boys and was embellished with metallic blue paper and blue and white snowflake ribbon. I could go on... My point is that these occasions that we all celebrate are special. They're memorable. They should be treated as such, and by starting this business, I get the opportunity to feed my creativity monster by designing something that's perfect for your special occasion. And, if you need more reasons to celebrate, here. 1. First, if you don't see something in our store that suits the occasion that you're planning, just contact me. I would be thrilled to work collaboratively with you to create something that's perfect... at no additional charge for the design work. 2. Nearly all of our products are created using 100% recycled and FSC-certified paper and envelopes... so, we're good to the environment! Each product description lists the level of eco-friendliness by telling you the materials that were used to create them. In very few cases, recycled materials are not available for a particular product... but this is absolutely the exception. As recycled materials become available for these products, we will make the switch in an effort to increase our commitment to a sustainable business. 3. We don't sell our products in pre-set increments, so you order only the quantity you need. 4. Order at least 12 pieces and standard shipping is free! And, for items under our "Scrapbook Die-cuts" category, because we realize you'll rarely need 12 of something, standard shipping is usually free for just one item. Check the item details for specific shipping charges. What's with the Blue Whale? Could be one too many nights watching Animal Planet with my animal-crazy four-year old. It seems fitting, though. The blue whale is the largest mammal (maybe the largest animal) ever to inhabit the earth. With its enormous size, it's hard to miss and it's truly unique. Kind of like our products...
